If you close your eyes, you never see the light...
Life is a strange mix of light and darkness and often when we are in darkness we tend to close our eyes when we should ideally keep it open to see the possible light around. There are times when you become a mere spectator to the events happening around you and find it difficult to react to the situation. Even if you do the closed eyes will barely see anything or any light you have on offer.
When the eyes are closed, it doesn't need to see the light nor is it worthy of seeing the light. It's tough to conclude which one is true but an eye which is looking for light will look for it regardless. Life is reflection of what we expect it to be, it isn't very different from what it really is. May be few events change time and frequency of occurrence. So when we have to see the light, we need to decide within ourselves if we want to do the same or not. If we do, we can't see the light with eyes closed, we need to open it wide to catch the glimpse to start with, so that we are ready by the time we actually see it.
When the darkness is too thick, light isn't far away, but to see the light, we gotta open our eyes, our mind and our perception to see the light within ourselves and around us.
